Sharon Memorial Park would like to acknowledge and thank all of our partners in helping families during this difficult time. Please click here to view our video appreciation.
Sharon Memorial Park is sensitive to your concerns about the impact of COVID-19. We are protective of families visiting the park, either for making arrangements or attending services. In accordance with the protocols outlined by the CDC, WHO and the local Department of Public Health, we have increased our diligence in sanitizing surfaces, door handles, and other high traffic areas. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will respond as necessary. We continue to be here to serve the community. Please note the following:
For anyone coming to the cemetery, please remember to practice social distancing and to wear a mask when not in a vehicle. The park will continue to be open to the public during its regular hours from 7:30AM to roughly one hour before dusk Sunday – Friday. Please use the main entrance on Dedham Street as primary point of entry and exit.
We have begun to take requests for improvements and we ask for your patience while we address your requests in the order in which they are received.
The Welcome Center:
The Welcome Center is closed to the public. It is critical we be consistent in this regard and there will be no exceptions. Accordingly, visitors are encouraged to use our online services at www.sharonmemorial.com to find loved ones, get directions to their location, view and print park maps and get general information. Outdoor restroom facilities are available – located in the staff parking area on the side of the Welcome Center.
The office remains open for all Cemetery business by phone [781-828-7216] or email [email@example.com] only.
We are scheduling a limited number of unveilings. Please contact our Memorial Installation and Unveiling Coordinator by phone [781-828-7216]. We will continue to notify you once your loved one’s bronze has been installed.
Please arrange appointments in advance via phone at [781-828-7216].
We have begun to process transfers and we ask for your patience while we complete them in the order in which they are received.
We will continue to perform all scheduled burials. However, you may notice some changes in protocol to comply with state and federal directives to ensure the welfare of the families we serve and our staff. Please note that the number attending a burial is limited to 20 people including Funeral Directors and Clergy. Anyone attending must be wearing a mask to be at the graveside or will be required to remain in their vehicle – no exceptions. Members of the immediate family will be permitted to view the lowering of the casket from their vehicles. We ask that all attendees depart following the committal service.
Please continue to check this page before planning a trip to the Cemetery. We will continue to update this page with announcements about any further changes to our daily operations.
